• Rest In The Dark Room

We suggest our patients rest in the darkroom (where all the lights are switched off). You must have a sleep of about 2 to 3 hours after the surgery.

• Use Eye Drops 6 To 7 Times A Day

After the procedure, it is common for your eyes to become dry. You can curb that thing by keeping it moisturized with the use of the prescribed eye drops.

• Try To Increase The Frequency Of Blinking

Blinking at a greater rate will help to keep your eyes moisturized.

• Do Not Touch Your Eyes With The Dirty Hands

It is suggested that you should not touch your eyes with dirty hands. IT will increase your chances of suffering from infections.

• Wear Sunglasses

Whenever you need to go outside, make sure you are wearing sunglasses. It will prevent your eyes from harmful exposure to bright sunlight.

• Do Not Let Your Eyes Be Exposed To The Dust

It is required that you keep yourself protected from harmful elements like dust and other particles. If something has unknowingly entered your eyes, then flush it with artificial tears.

• Do Not Wash Your Hair

Washing your hair will let your eyes get exposed to the water. So for a few days, just avoid washing your hair. Also, there is a risk of shampoo entering your eyes. It would make you feel itchy.

• Do Not Remove The Protective Eye Shield

For the first few days, you should not remove the protective covering from your eyes as your eyes are extremely sensitive to the light.

• No Rubbing

It is suggested that you should not rub your eyes. It will damage your eyes by shifting the corneal flap and will increase the risk of suffering from serious kinds of the infections

• Do Not Use Tap Water

Never use tap water for cleaning your eyes as it is a sterile solution.

• Do Not Go Swimming

For at least 3 weeks, you should refrain from going swimming.

• Do Not Wear Eye Makeup

Do not use any of the cosmetic or the makeup products for 2 to 3 weeks after undergoing the surgery.
