Today, we will learn some details about Myopia, also known as nearsightedness. It is a common vision condition that often happens to children between the ages of 6 to 14. It affects up to 9% of school-aged children, 5% of preschoolers, and nearly 30% of adolescents.

Children are at higher risk of suffering from myopia if their parents have suffered from one. That being said, it is one of the growing conditions in children especially. The exact reason for the overall rise of myopia is not sure, but it is speculated that the ongoing increase in screen time while using computers or playing video games.

 What Are The Symptoms Of Myopia?
